The first course will introduce how the real world is recorded and put on a map. We will cover location, coordinates, and different types of spatial data. The second course will introduce Geographic Information Systems and digital mapping. It will cover how to map on a computer system.
The course will support the learner in fundamental GIS skills, developing competencies in a deeper understanding of spatial data and map making. As well as, a basic understanding of GIS
